The community is invited to celebrate the City Reach Soul Center with a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. Friday, September 4. The center is located on the ground floor of the Backstay in Union City.

The Soul Center is designed primarily as a youth center, giving local young people a place to connect, spend time and enjoy activities. The center also includes additional community outreach efforts.

According to the promotional flyer, visitors can enjoy gaming opportunities at no cost, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR2, Nintendo Switch 2 and a NEX gaming cube. The center also highlights connections to a food pantry and clothing closet, expanding its role as a resource for the community.

Residents are encouraged to join the City Reach team Friday afternoon for the ribbon cutting and learn more about the new Soul Center and the services it will provide in Union City.
