Union City residents are invited to support a good cause while enjoying homemade treats at a community bake sale on Saturday, September 19, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All money raised will benefit the American Cancer Society.

The bake sale will be held at 239 1/2 N. Columbia St. in Union City, in the open lot next to The Corner Cupboard. The sale is being organized by Kyra Swiger and will feature cookies, brownies and other baked goods.

The event is being held in conjunction with the Saturday farmers market, providing residents with another reason to stop downtown, visit local vendors and support a charitable cause.

Community members are encouraged to stop by between 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., pick up something sweet and help support the American Cancer Society. Every purchase will contribute to the fundraiser.
