Join us Wednesday, July 29 through Saturday, August 1, for four days of community celebrations in Union City, Indiana and Ohio.

This year’s festival includes live entertainment, carnival rides, flea markets, contests, food, the Grand Parade, The Hunt, bed races, melodrama, children’s activities and much more.

Carnival rides will begin Wednesday evening at the corner of Howard and Oak streets. Rides will operate each evening and again following Saturday’s parade.

Wednesday, July 29

11:30 a.m. — Kick-Off Luncheon and Farmer of the Year Award
Union City Elks Lodge
Tickets are $12 each.

6:00 p.m. — FREE Community Dinner
Under the Main Tent on Pearl Street
Sponsored by the City of Union City.

6:30–10:30 p.m. — Heritage Sounds
A Johnny Cash tribute featuring seven bands. Each group will perform for approximately 20 minutes and include two Johnny Cash songs.

Thursday, July 30

9:00 a.m. — Heritage Days Photo Contest Begins

9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. — Most Photogenic Baby and Pampered Pet Contest

5:30 p.m. — Little Mr. and Miss Contest Registration

Open to children ages 4–7. Entry fee is $5. Winners must participate in Saturday’s parade.

7:30 p.m. — Watermelon Eating Contest

Following the parade, Apostolic Restoration Church will offer prayer for anyone who wishes to stop by at 212 W. Pearl Street.
