Men’s Softball Tournament Supports Animal Shelter

The Union City Police Department is inviting residents to come together for a day of friendly competition and community impact at the Men’s Slow Pitch Softball Tournament on July 12, 2026. The event will raise funds and awareness for the Winchester Animal Shelter while bringing local police, fire, EMS, and community members together.

The tournament will begin at 12:00 p.m. at Goodrich Park in Winchester, Indiana. Teams will compete throughout the day in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere focused on fun and giving back. Community members are encouraged to attend, cheer on participants, and enjoy the activities planned alongside the games.

In addition to softball, the event will feature:

  • Food from 225° Barbecue

  • Additional local vendors (to be announced)

  • Activities and handouts for kids

  • Pet adoption opportunities through the Winchester Animal Shelter
