Families gather on picnic blankets with small American flags on a sunny lawn in front of the Artisan Crossing pavilion during a small-town community event.

Residents are invited to celebrate Independence Day at Artisan Crossing with an afternoon of family-friendly activities, food, and community connection. The event will take place on July 4 from noon to 5:00 PM in the downtown park as part of a nationwide celebration marking the 250th Birthday of the United States.

The celebration is open to all ages and will feature a variety of attractions, including food vendors, a Veterans’ tent, a photo booth, and activities designed for families. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic supplies to enjoy a relaxing day with friends, family, and neighbors.

A children’s coloring contest will also be held, with prizes awarded in three age groups:

  • Ages 3–5

  • Ages 6–8

  • Ages 9–11

Coloring forms will be available beginning June 1 at Kaup Pharmacy, giving families time to participate ahead of the event.

This community celebration offers an opportunity for residents to come together, honor the nation’s history, and enjoy a festive summer afternoon in a welcoming downtown setting.
