IU Health’s Mobile Lung Screening Unit is coming to Winchester to offer potentially life-saving lung screenings right in your community.
If you currently smoke or have quit within the last 15 years, you may be eligible for this important screening. Early detection is key—lung cancer typically does not show symptoms in the early stages, but a simple scan can make all the difference.

Eligibility Requirements (must meet both):
Between the ages of 50 – 77
At least 20 pack-years of smoking history
Pack-years = Number of packs per day × number of years smoked
✅ Insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid, covers this screening if you meet the above criteria.
✅ No needles, no special diet, and no change of clothes required.
✅ Appointment is required.
