The Union City boys baseball team continues its impressive postseason run this Saturday, June 14, as they compete in the IHSAA Class 1A Semi-State at historic Loeb Stadium in Lafayette. The team will face Kouts in the opening game at 11:00 a.m. Eastern.
If victorious, Union City will advance to the championship game later that evening at 7:00 p.m., where they will take on the winner of the second semi-state game between Clinton Prairie and Fort Wayne Canterbury, scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
This marks a remarkable season for the team, and the community is encouraged to come out and show support. A win on Saturday would secure Union City a spot in the state championship game.
