Union City, IN — The Arts Depot is thrilled to announce the opening of the 52nd Annual Randolph County High School Exhibit, a long-standing tradition that showcases the incredible talents of our area’s emerging young artists. This cherished event, now in its 52nd year, invites the community to celebrate the creativity and vision of high school students from across Randolph County.
Held in the nationally recognized historic passenger train depot, the exhibit transforms the Depot’s storied walls into a vibrant gallery of youthful expression. The event is not only a testament to over five decades of local arts advocacy but also a celebration of the future creative thinkers who will shape tomorrow’s cultural landscape.
“This exhibit is one of our most inspiring annual events,” said a representative of The Arts Depot. “These students are not just showcasing art — they’re sharing their voices, dreams, and perspectives. It’s an opportunity for our community to rally around them and show what a strong, supportive arts culture looks like.”
The exhibit is free and open to the public, making it an accessible and enriching experience for all. Visitors will also enjoy light refreshments as they explore the diverse array of student works — from bold paintings and intricate drawings to innovative mixed media pieces.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Blick Art Materials for generously sponsoring this year’s awards. Their support helps us recognize and encourage the next generation of artists in Randolph County. To learn more about Blick and their commitment to creativity, visit www.dickblick.com.
The opening reception will be held on Sunday, May 4 from 2:00 pm – 4 pm.
