The Union City Police Department reminds all animal owners to ensure their dogs are properly secured and accounted for. If your dog is impounded by the department, please note the following fees apply:
Impoundment Fee: $25
Daily Housing Fee: $10 per day
These fees are set in accordance with City of Union City Ordinance 90.13.
Additionally, please be aware that the Union City Police Department has limited space available to secure animals. Keeping track of your pets not only helps avoid fees but ensures their safety and well-being.
